What is Return Therapy?

Return Therapy is an individualized approach to sports massage and rehabilitation that combines hands-on care, movement education, and practical guidance to help you recover, build resilience, and return to the activities you care about.

Sports Massage as Part of A Broader Rehabilitation approach

At Return Therapy, hands-on treatment is the starting point. The goal is to understand what your body needs, address the problem in front of us, and give you the tools and direction to keep moving forward.

That means targeted treatment within a broader rehabilitation approach: individualized care that progresses and adapts as you do, education and insight to better understand your body, and connection to other trusted providers when additional support is needed.

MEET YOUR THERAPIST:

Kyle Bernbach, lmt

I built Return Therapy around the belief that providing expertly applied massage can bring active and hurting individuals the agency they need to move well again, and foster a better relationship with their bodies and themselves.

I understand the toll of training intimately, whether for peak performance or through an injury. I’ve also studied the effects of massage intensely and use evidence-informed practices to aid my clients through their recovery.

If you’re looking to partner with a therapist whose mission is to get you back to baseline and beyond, you’ve come to the right place.

Welcome to Return Therapy.

I’ve been working with Kyle every 4-8 weeks for years now and cannot recommend his work enough! He is incredibly thorough in his practice, and beyond attentive to what’s going on in my daily routine to assess what needs to be addressed with every session. He is kind, warm and welcoming, and will make sure you walk out of your appointment feeling completely renewed. I’m a very active person who travels almost weekly for work, so working with Kyle has become an essential part of my wellness routine. Book your next session, you won’t regret it.

I’m a personal trainer and Kyle is amazing!! He is very knowledgeable, professional and patiently listens to your body. Kyle has helped me overcome my back injury, a master at his craft and I’ve referred all of my clients to him.

Kyle is the BEST!! After having three pelvic reconstruction surgeries to address congenital hip dysplasia, I need regular physical therapy massages to help with my recovery. I truly feel so lucky to have found Kyle - he is incredibly thoughtful in his practice and is so incredibly knowledgeable about the human body. I am quite picky with massages and Kyle is able to address every concern - be it leg muscles, hip flexors, glutes, back, and so much more. Highly recommend for anybody looking for post surgery massage therapy care!!

Kyle with Return Therapy is a skilled therapist who has been a great partner in helping me achieve my physical goals (recovery/maintenance, flexibility, mobility) over the past couple years. He uses a range of techniques and approaches depending on what's discussed at the front, and I've always appreciated our debriefs afterwards when we share insights and he offers suggestions of exercises to do between sessions. Highly recommend!

What makes Kyle different from other body work or massage therapy practitioners is that Kyle is super interested in how movement impacts and is impacted by the massage - I always leave with suggestions on stretches to do, shifts I can consider, or other amazing tips. I swear, I am still incorporating tips Kyle gave me for lower back pain in 2022, and they still work!

I came in with a lower back muscle strain and left feeling like myself again. Kyle's attention to detail and expertise has brought significant pain relief to my body, and I'm so grateful!

Kyle is one of the best massage therapists that I have ever worked with. His attention to detail in medical massage is second to none. Post injury he was just the type of therapist that I needed. I particularly enjoyed his post massage wrap up reveal conversation as well. I highly recommend!
